Navigating The Biggest Moments of Your Life | Pastor Joe Shutts

This Sunday, Pastor Joe Shutts shared a powerful Easter message kicking off his new series, “Navigating the Biggest Moments of Your Life.” Through the story of Mary Magdalene, we were reminded that Easter wasn’t just the biggest day in history for Christians, it was the most life-changing moment for her. What started in grief and confusion turned into hope, joy, and purpose when she encountered the risen Jesus. Pastor Joe showed us that we all face “big days” in life, moments like a wedding, an engagement, or even a funeral. These moments can be filled with emotion, uncertainty, and everything in between. But just like Mary, we don’t have to navigate them alone. Because of Jesus, we can walk into every big moment with faith, knowing He is with us, guiding us, and giving us peace no matter what we face. Why Do We Serve In Church? | Pastor Joe Shutts

This Sunday, Pastor Joe Shutts shared a powerful message for Palm Sunday, reminding us of who Jesus is and all that He has done for us. As we reflected on Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, Pastor Joe walked us through the significance of this moment and how it points to the sacrifice and victory that was to come. He reminded us that Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve, and ultimately to give His life for us. Throughout the message, we were challenged to not just celebrate Jesus, but to follow His example. Serving isn’t just something we do, it’s a reflection of our faith and a response to everything Christ has done in our lives. Whether it’s inside the church or out in our community, every act of service matters. Pastor Joe also encouraged us to get plugged in and be a part of what God is doing. The church thrives when people step up, use their gifts, and serve others with a willing heart. This message reminds us that Palm Sunday is more than a moment, it’s a call to action.
