The Good News of Jesus as Savior/Deliverer is but an intro, the 1^st Act in God’s redemption plan.  Much like the Hebrews rejoiced when Moses rose p to lead them out of Egypt…the journey had only just begun, the Promise Land had giants, a wilderness bordered that great land and after being delivered, there was no need for food, water, worship, and all the usual provisions.  Thus, Jesus as deliverer is Act 1 of a many-act drama.

We have all heard it said that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and in many ways that is true, in other ways and for some people perhaps its not.

One thing for sure is if anytime of the year, we have all looked forward to Christmas at some point in our lives to fulfill that longing we all have inside to be truly and completely satisfied.  To find rest for our souls and contentment in this life.
